We have had a fun time learning about 3 dimensional shapes and tangrams.
We made 3D shapes with play dough and toothpicks and created pictures using tangrams.
Don’t they look wonderful?

For the last three weeks we have been learning about road safety and the parts of the road.
We have been very lucky to have some special guests help us learn about being safe on the road. We had Police Education Officer, Constable Doris take us for a walk around our neighbourhood. We learned where to cross the road safely and how to cross the road.
We also had Sam and Ruben the Road Safety Bear talk to us. We learned a fun song to help us remember road safety rules.

We had a wonderful time before the Easter holidays make some very cute crafts. We wove a basket with wool, decorated an egg and made a rabbit or chicken out of a face cloth.
We were very proud of what we made.

Room 9,10 and 11 have just completed an awesome camp at Waihi Beach.
We had a wonderful group of parents who drove, supervised, cooked, washed, read books, swam, made sandcastles, completed tasks and comforted children when needed. Your help was amazing.
The children had a wonderful time and learned a lot along the way.
Thank you.
Day 1
Today we went to the Karangahake Gorge in Waihi. It was fun, but it was hard because there were lots of stairs, tunnels, train tracks and lots of swinging bridges. It was cool.

Day 2
Today we went to the Waihi Martha Gold Mine. First we went around Waihi. Then we went to the Museum. Mr Broadhurst drove the bus. When we were on the bus a lady passed around some gold and silver.
Next we went into The Education Centre. It was fun.
