We have all thoroughly enjoyed all our camp activities over two days and one night
Room 6, 7 and 8 children spent Thursday exploring Marshall’s Aniaml Park and especially liked seeing the huge eels. Lots of children spent time patting the guinea pigs as well as seeing all the other aniamls at the park.
One of the best things to do was go whizzing down on the flying fox. After lunch we walked through the bush and visited the beautiful waterfall.
At night we all had a family barbeque at school, followed by a short concert. The parents all got up and joined in the dances.
Everyone was keen to get to their tents for the sleepover. Some children slept in the classrooms. It rained a bit in the night, but everyone still woke up smiling.
After breakfast at school we were off to the Mount beach for sandcastle creations and then headed to the rock pools in search of sea creatures. After a yummy lunch it was time to soak in the hot pools before heading back to school.
It was pack up time and the chance to say our thankyous and goodbyes to all our friends and classmates. What a great lot of experiences.
Many thanks to all the parents who gave so much time and energy to making a very successful junior camp.
