Room 6, 7 and 8 children have returned from spending an overnight camp at Blair Lodge. This was a great place to visit and provided lots of challenging fun activities for all the five and six year olds. It wouldn’t have been possible without the wonderful support of so many parents. Thank you everyone.
On the first day children had the chance to ride BMX bikes on the challenging track. They also did archery, the confidence course, games and sports and a scavenger hunt. Children enjoyed creating art works. In the afternoon, we walked to a magnificent waterfall and had a cool swim.
In the evening, after a delicious dinner we sang songs to the parents. Everyone slept in cabins, a lodge, a games room or tents.
The next day we visited the Katikati museum and the Katikati Bird Gardens. Everyone liked the relaxing time and riding on the golf cart.
We are all looking forward to going on our next big adventure.
