We have been learning about Kiwiana and we read the book ‘If’ by  Sarah Perry – a very talented author and illustrator with amazing pictures. It had phrases in it like ‘If cats could fly’, ‘If dogs were mountains’, ‘If music could be held’.

They were so inspiring that we decided to mix the two – Kiwiana Icons and an ‘If’ modification! We put the new ‘icon’ on a polystyrene block so it stands out from the picture.

We think they look AWESOME!!!!
