On the 15th of March, the Year 5/6′s went to the Small Schools swimming sports in Katikati. It was a day full of tough competition, against Pahoia, Omokoroa Point, Matahui and Whakamaru Schools. All the children did very well.

Room 5 children who went on to North Cluster – Anna-2 lengths backstoke, Danica – 1 length butterfly, 2 lengths freestyle, Daniel – 1 length freestyle and relay.  Both Year 5 and Year 6 relay teams won their races against the other schools! Well done to all swimmers.

From the North Cluster Event, Anna made it through to the WBOP Swim event in Greerton for 2 lengths backstroke! Go Anna!
