Our visit to the supermarket was really great.

When we arrived at Brookfield New World we were welcomed by two members of the staff . These ladies showed us through the vegetable department,butchery and bakery. It was interesting to learn how they get the vegetables ready for display, cut up the meat and package it. The best part was the bakery where they create all their own food and to think we were not allowed to taste anything.

Next we meet up with Naomi from Foodstuffs. She helped us to read the packages and learn what is the best for us to eat. It was fun looking at each section and choosing what to writing about.

Back at school we have compared all the data and worked out what is the best / worst foods available.
