SPORTS CAMP
SPORTS CAMP REVIEW
On the 28th – 31st of July Omokoroa No.1 School year 7 and 8 students attended sports camp at Totara Springs in Matamata everyone had a blast.
Eight school attended sports camp some of the school children were fantastic at sport. At camp we played pretty much every sport you can imagine it was a really cool experience.
The food was delicious they made us breakfast which was cereal, porridge and spaghetti on toast, for lunch and dinner we had allsorts of things the people that made the food were great.
At camp there were lots of things to do in your spear time like playing on the playground, buying things from the canteen on Thursday, swimming in the pool and lots of other things you can play with and in.
The accommodation was quite nice there were motels which we slept in last year they were very nice they had toilets, kitchen, and shower and was big. But this year we had to sleep in not such nice accommodation it was just a little room which fit ten girls and two extra beds it didn’t have a toilet but there was one just outside but it was nice having all the girls in our class to talk to.
Sports camp is a really great place to send your children they would have the best time and a really great thing about it is that you can send your kids to sports camp but not with there class they can go at any age just look on there website. It is such a great experience!

SPORTS CAMP REVIEW
On the 28th-31st of July the year seven and eights from Omokoroa no 1 school went to Totara Springs sports camp. We arrived on the Tuesday as well as 8 other schools from the north island.
Sports camp involved a wide rang of sports 24 in total, I personally played ten different sports. We started our sports at around 11 o’clock on Tuesday, and it felt as if they would never stop, they were straight after each other for about five hours a day, for four days. Each sport was allocated 25 minutes each, so you had to go hard out and then sprint to the next event, and then go hard out again. Then we had dinner and quality living and maybe some more sports and by then it was about ten o’clock. By then we were feeling really tired. On the last day I was so tired so I thought long and hard and I decided to buy. . . . . a MOTHER (energy drink).
I liked sports camp I think it is rated 4/5, I advise it for the classes next year!!!
