On Monday 31 August our school speech competition was held. It was obvious from the quality of speakers, the teachers had helped in many ways to improve the standard of speech writing and delivery. Thank you also to all the parents who have encouraged their children in their learning.

We were entertained with stories from Dad and their fishing, to looking at names and some embarrassing moments we all have.

Congratulations to all the speakers and especially our winners:

Year 3 and 4:       1st Gemma Bateman (Fishing)

Year 5 and 6:       1st Gemma Thorp (Names)

Year 7 and 8:       1st Jacob Reyland (Embarrassing Moments)

Good luck to the people who will be representing the school at the cluster speech competition.
